Trinity College Theological School is committed to shaping men and women who wish to pursue ordination in the Anglican Church, develop skills for lay ministry, or explore Christian faith for personal or vocational enrichment and development.
Bishop James Moorhouse established the Theological School in 1877 to provide clergy with a large and liberal education by placing students in community with those studying in professional and other academic fields.
Today that open and rigourous spirit still functions in a mostly non-resident community committed to ecumenical endeavour and Anglican comprehensiveness.
